It's difficult to believe that it has been seven years since we first started building stuff with the name Peaceland, and every year we get the same nostalgic feeling of this memory of the past perhaps immortalised in Origins two years ago.
But this year we'd like to do something different - instead of building a "7" on top of the Liberty Castle, we'd like to look forward into the future rather than cling onto the past. So this year we're going to try something different - an announcement moving forward. We're glad to announce on this very significant day that Peaceland is no longer a one-man project. Overtime we've learnt that as the size of the project grew we needed more support from our friends in Antares and the IAMA, and they have, for long, generously provided us with it. But perhaps it is time to change the structure of how we've always developed the project, and to officially recognise and credit the hard work our friends deserve. We'd like to present to you the new, official Republic of Peaceland development team: Lead architect - NickMiao0928 Lead interior designer - Kevin Chan Lead terraformer, QC & Packaging - Kae Meanwhile, we're also excited to announce that the project is now a full-fledged Antares BT project, as will be published alongside other upcoming Antares projects. This will provide the project with the necessary support especially when it comes to liaison with the Microsoft Marketplace team, QC, and packaging. We believe it is fair to say that the future of Peaceland is looking very bright. With new members on board and more resources available, we hope we will be able to meet the deadline of a Summer 2021 release! And on that note, a very happy 7th birthday to Peaceland.

2018 has been a very eventual year for us. While we decided to cancel the release of Project Redefined Phase 2 at the last minute, it allowed us to transition to Java and join TeamVisionary and Antares, increasing development at an unforeseen rate.
We'd like to take this opportunity and thank those who supported us and helped us along the way, especially the IAMA community, who provided invaluable advice, as well as Kae and the Antares community, who did the amazing terraforming of the city's new landscape and provided us the platform for expansion. Looking ahead, we aim to complete at least two-thirds of the project within this new year, with the rest finishing off by early 2020 - hopefully getting green lit by Microsoft's Marketplace moderation team right as we approach summer. Six years ago today, the Republic of Peaceland was founded in New Liberty City (Origins). Every year this day, we look back to where we started and think how far we've came. We look back and reflect on everything we've learnt along the way, and thank all those who has supported us over the years. This year, as we reflect on the past, we also look ahead into the future. We begin to think how far we can go, and how else we can help others walking the same path, others who also believe that Minecraft more than a game, but rather a canvas - a tool for constructed art.
Looking ahead, we strive to become one of the best map series in the industry. Of course, it won't be easy, but we are determined, and we hope you would support us on our way. We're glad to announce that we've officially migrated our operations to Java Edition, with the help of Antares Federation, who has generously provided a platform for us. Also a huge thanks to Kae, who will be helping with the terraformming of the project!
With the tools available on Java, we'll be able to expand rapidly and redevelop outdated areas. Follow our Twitter to stay posted! We present our most sincere apology for we will be cancelling the release of Project Redefined Phase 2 of the Republic of Peaceland due to preparations to enter the Minecraft Marketplace via TeamVisionary in 2020.
The release was cancelled after talks with our seniors in TeamVisionary, who recommended against a free release as it would largely reduce a customer's desire to purchase the final product. We have, therefore, cancelled all future free releases along with Update 4.5. Once again, we apologise for the let down caused by this decision. |
